Drips Blackforest Cake (Non Alcohol)

Solid alcohol-free blackforest cake with chocolate flakes that were neither too sweet nor bitter. A dense layer of what seemed to be mascarpone cheese gave good texture to the lighter whipped cream topping. Cherries were delightfully firm to the bite and added a powerful acidic contrast to the cake, though they were a little too sour for my liking. More fruits within the sponge layers would have been the icing on the cake. Overall: 8/10
